CinemaSpiel Interview: Claude Foisy, Music Composer for White Noise and Pontypool

movie music composer

Music Composer Claude Foisy

I may not have been posting here very regularly but believe me, I’ve been a busy boy. I’m putting a lot of my efforts into a little movie discussion podcast called CinemaSpiel with partners-in-crime, Jason Whyte and Kyle Wells, with producer Lance Gilson and sound mixer Buddy Thatcher.

The chit chat has been great, but I have to be honest, my favourite episodes are the ones where I get to interview someone in the movie industry. I’ve had the pleasure of talking with directors, producers, a former Canadian Ambassador to Iran…and now a music composer.

Claude Foisy is a Montreal boy but he makes his living from Los Angeles. With more than 200 TV shows and movies under his belt, he’s had a good deal of experience adding to your viewing and listening pleasure. Where would you have heard him? Michael Keaton’s White Noise, Bruce McDonald’s Pontypool and sequels in the Wrong Turn series.

Have a listen to the interview below.
